On behalf of the University at Buffalo Libraries, I am pleased to share news of the following recent additions to the Libraries? staff: Naciah Bell is Night Operations Supervisor in the Oscar A. Silverman Library. Naciah oversees safety and security in the library and manages facilities-related issues during the late-night portion of the library?s 24/7 schedule. Prior to accepting her position with the UB Libraries, Naciah worked as a security coordinator in Corning, NY. Molly Dahl Poremski serves as International Languages & Literatures Librarian in the Arts & Sciences Libraries. Molly earned her MLS and BA (French and Spanish) degrees from UB, and she also completed the Rare Books Cataloging course at the Rare Book School of the University of Virginia. She studied at the Centre de Linguistique Applique, University de Franche-Comte in Besancon, France, and at the AIP Language Institute of the Universidad Polytecnica de Valencia in Valencia, Spain. Molly is the Libraries? liaison to UB?s Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and programs in Caribbean Studies, Latino/a Studies and Polish Studies. She also oversees the Polish Collection in Lockwood Memorial Library. Elizabeth Stellrecht is Clinical Librarian and Liaison to the UB School of Dental Medicine. She holds BA (Art History) and MLS degrees from UB, and her previous experience includes providing reference and instruction services for a private law library, D?Youville College, and serving as a graduate student assistant and temporary assistant librarian at the UB Health Sciences Library (HSL). Liz is based in the HSL Reference & Education Services department, where, in addition to traditional reference, bibliographic instruction, and research consultation services, she provides evidence-based clinical information management support services for students and faculty in the School of Dental Medicine?s patient clinics. Amy Vilz joined the Libraries as University Archivist in January 2013. Amy received her BA (History) and MLS degrees from UB, and served most recently as College Archivist at D?Youville College. Amy has also worked as a Special Collections librarian at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library, project archivist at the Rochester Institute of Technology on several projects, and as a volunteer archivist at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
